these days i have seen quite a few marriages in uk break, i have a cuziz of mines who’s from uk and he got married in uk and broke up with his wife and its not even been a year since they wer married…but does that mean this will happen everywer?

Im not gowing to aggree to marry backhome lol right now i dont even wana aggree to get married. If i get forced or told tooooo much or even if they emotionaly try to make me say yeh then il say if im too much for u to handle then il move outt...(not as if i really would) but they really need to understand me. My mum has not botherd asking me politely what i want, she's litrally throwing marriage on me. hmmm

Tell them no and stop engaging in a discussion about it or getting upset about it. If they see you are willing to discuss things and that you are getting worked up, they end up being in control. Just answer their questions calmly and respectfully without getting into the whole discussion again. And go on with whatever else you are doing.

It will drive them crazy. :D

Either that, or start seeing a non-desi/non-Muslim guy. Then that sweet ABCD boy will look much better to them. :D

I dont think thats true.
But statistically if it is true i can understand that as well. In my opinion divorce is a slightly more viable option for couples abroad than in pakistan. Perhaps divorce is more socially acceptable and understood and therefore it can become an option for couples in an unhappy relationships abroad. But often i have heard of women in pakistan stuck forever in even marriages even though it causes them so much pain. But they only stay with there husbands because of their kids, or the concept of becoming a burden upon their parents as they cannot financially support themselves and because divorce is such a taboo like thing. But i may be generalizing so yeah.
