If you end up marrying a guy out of pressure when your heart isn’t into it, then you risk ruining your life, the guy’s life, and you’ll feel resentment toward your parents who will be stressed out over you. Where is the respect for parents in that? Beware of gaining/giving a smaller and short-lived happiness in exchange for greater misery down the road.

I’m not saying that you should ignore your parents and only do whatever you want. But I think you need to examine some of the ideas/beliefs you hold.

yeah but the problem is everytyme i try to talk to my mum she turns her face? makes me sound wrong? i dont even shout, i say it calmly but instead she says DONT TALK TO ME ABOUT THIS and tturns around.
What am i meant to do here? and i know it for a fact now that they will look here in uk but not happily, they wont look at the right people in uk, they will jus try n put me off..they wont put effort in it…i dont know what to do?
