I looked off of this old photograph of my mom and tried drawing a similar picture of her face. It resembles her, but it doesn’t look exactly like her. I think I made the nose too small.

Yea but I tried finding a colored pencil that matched the color of her skin in the picture and I couldn’t find anything…I don’t wanna color her skin and screw up the picture so I just left it.
The emphasis in this picture was on the curls of her hair.

phatima i suggest you try using different colour combinations with browns * pinks to give a nice skin colour on another page
