as for the prints they dont change much...except that hopefully with the new designers comin in they wl give somethin new to the prints.

lol, well i guess if ur a tourist somewhere...ull take as many pics as possible. that's not really my thing though, i feel so stupid taking my camera out and taking pictures of the random-est things.

R u sure it was actually bought at Ideas and not some copy print sold at countless places on Tariq Road.
Even though their prices are rocket high, they prints are amazing. I also love their bags but not shoes.

hmm i think i mentioned in my post that i went to Ideas-Gul Ahmed...ofcourse i am not stupid that i would buy copy prints and than complain abt their quality.

Silai is so expensive, i just paid 180 rs for a plain suit 
And i had several suits too.
Btw, the Gul Ahmad prints that i have seen so far, i dont like so much. Someone just had a thread talking about some of the new ones out and they are so aunty type, like huge flowers and what not. I have bought several other non brand names with pretty good quality and neat prints. Is it just me who feels this way?

you know, one of my cousins is employed by Gul Ahmad...She says that the stuff they produce for export is absolutely to die for..Colors, prints, and the fabric quality is amazing...But they don't allow those fabrics in local market at all..

ok i highly doubt it that they have diff prints for export! but ya maybe better quality but even that i dont think is done but i can't say.

actually i've heard it as well...that some of the big textile names make different quality and prints for export. better quality. what i wanna know is where is it being sold?! india? china? US?

i HEART ideas by gul ahmed.. but if ure not buying their emobroidered lawn pcs, i realize u have to get the kaam done on it to make it look just as glam as it looks in magazines and their posters... no harm in it, i did that and its the first time im able to wear lawn shalwar kameez to formal events and still look fab :show off khatoon:
