Badshah’s won the toss, decided to bat first…and we making good progress, but then they collapsed in the middle…ended up making 130-9…hat’s off to hyderabad for restricting lahore to such a low score, and brilliant fielding performance…
Hyderbad had a solid start to the innings…and were in control of the game pretty much throughout, till the 17th over, when Rana turned the tide with 3 quick wickets and only 2 runs in the over…in the final over, hyderabad needed 11 runs with 2 wickets in hand…rana bowled 2 no-balls, and 1 wide (on which there was a run-out)…with the scores tied at 130-9, and 3 balls to go, rana bowled out the last batsman!!
so it was decided on a bowl-out…and Hyderabad won 3-0 reminds me of the 20/20 world-cup match b/w india and pak sigh
i don’t get why the bowlers change their run-up for the bowlout? that screws them over i think…plus the fact that inzi chose to go with the fast bowlers, instead of slower ones - complete opp of what hyderabad did…
ah well…good game nonetheless…the new ICL 20/20 champs are the heroes (since they won the first game by 6 runs as well)…well played, and well deserved as they were the most improved team in the tournament :k:

farazrafi & inzi_rocks: i know!! i think it’s cuz they shorten the runup, which screws up the rest of the delivery…if u’re gonna go with fast bowlers, don’t tell them to change their run-up!! 2nd time that in a major tournament, pakistan (in this case lahore) has failed miserably at the bowl-out…i was hoping that had learned from the mistakes of the 20/20 world-cup…but looks like they didn’t…ah well…they better get it right the 3rd time around
Umar: yea, they were the most consistent performers compared to the rest of the teams…hats off to them still for that…i’m already looking forward to the next tournament…next one is officially “india VS pak VS rest of the world”, from april 9th - 15th!!

i think everyone in the world shud learn that bowl outs r for slow bowlers and not for the quickies....
even the heroes tried one fast bowler (who has been quite accurate otherwise) and he missed the stumps while none of their slow bowlers missed the stumps....
i think its just common sense, but twice the pakistanis have failed to even hit the stumps once in a bowl out....
shameful really....
but with razzaq taking the man of the tournament award, and that diamond studded cricket ball, lets be happy for the one pakistani guy who did enjoy the night....

the habbit of pak team crumbling under pressure continued. Every member of our team had good exposure to international cricket still they lost to some unknown players. Bravo!
