I still believe batting first in a playoff match is the only way to go. the pitch aint gonna change in 3 hours.
Inzi did the right thing. They should have re-adjusted strategy and target after yoyo got out.

No if WI had batted first, they would have been under pressure to make a big total and we could have got them out cheaply. Our batting (consists of only 2 genuine batsman by the way) would have atleast have the benefit of the fact that they had a low score to chase.
Now WI have NO pressure because they know they only have 100 odd runs to make.

Sun was out on most occassions and it soaks up the moisture. Thats how the wicket changes. Yes it will still seam around but early morning clouds and moisture plead for a 'bowl first' decisions. Secondly, England did the exact opposite yesterday and that was the right thing to do.
Lekin aaj tou Umpiring controversey nahi honi chahiye, Razzaq was Definitely out, its a different issue that the batsman should get the benefit of Doubt.
There was no doubt, it was Out, only problem is there was no Camera covering that particular angle. but the other angle showed the stumps dislodged while Razzaq still had not reached the crease.
Having said that I know the Pain, when your team is playing you want everything to go your way, and when it dosent you feel cheated.
Aejaz bhai they were discussing this very same point. Yes the wicket moved but did the bails fall. It is the bails and not the wicket that matters. Therefore it shoudl have been not out. Mind you it would not have mattered the way we batted in the whole inning.
*Oh come on ppl. it's part and Parcel of the Game ..... we know our 11 can fight and they'll fight insha'Allah ..... Well WI exploited the conditions very well ..... even if Pakistan go on to be kicked out of ICC CT (which is highly possible after the batting) i think we've seen a good team performance from them over a longer period ..... I think Inzi and Bob must try to identify the right squad for the series down-under later this year ..... the SL test may help in this regard * :D :D :D
On the other hand i wrote in others threads to be HUMBLE after defeating an opponent even if it’s India … some here forgot what it is so today they’ve the opportunity to learn it again … Khoaf-e-Khuda is always is good even when u r on top bcoz u never know how long u’ll be on top
Well said, we underestimate the youth and inexperience of this team. I think nine times out of ten we beat the West Indies but in a scenario such as this, where you have to guess about the wicket, it's a lottery and we got unlucky. It's a shame the pitch decides this match, look how fun Aus-Eng was yesterday when teams could actually build an innings and show their mettle.
