Just after two days from now on Pakistan is facing West Indies at the Rose Bowl on this coming wednesday.
despite the bad pitch and bad weather conditions west indies got a thrilling victory with 5 wickets remaining, when they played against south africa in their previous match
players like Brian Lara, Sarwan who made 75, and this chandarpaul are world class players, and good hiters like powel.
So it is going to be a really tough match, tougher than India`s level that we saw today, thats for sure, so we gotta do much better and give the max.
So other semi final is on tuesday, england vs aus, which is another tough match, as we all know they in good form after the netwets series.
Will be an interesting match, and hoping to see Ehsan back by that time.
Rana sahab is in the team to stay. His career best came today, he ain't going anywhere for a while. His bowling isn't that good, but he gets wickets from nowhere.
I think Pak should go with the same team against WI.
He gets wickets because he keeps probing line and length, just like Shabbir, Gul people unlike our experienced fasties i.e. Sami who'd throw full toss as a "variety ball" instead of some swing or yorkers. Naveed is like Abdul Razzaq/Azhar Mehmood (but only for bowling) when they started their career.
Remember 1st ODI of Pakistan vs India in Pakistan!?!? yes he gave away 25 runs in first overs, but guess who got best of wickets? and who got today?

i agree maybe butt should come in for farhat in against WI... it might be a bit of a pressure situation but they aren't that strong of a side... but most likley i think they'll play him in the zimb/sl series at home.... afridi and razzaq down the order could cause havoc... but as the commentator said, afridi "lives by the sword and dies by the sword"
I feel west indian one day batting line up is really impressive. Thats why they have successfully chased in recent times against big teams. It is their bowling line up that sucks currently so Pakistan should bank itself to chase rather than playing to WI's strength.
