Typical emotional reaction by the fans, playing the discrimination and the racial bias card. Well on one hand we claim to be sick and tired of the corruption but on the other hand we raise hue and cry when such corruption is highlighted. It’s high time that this corruption and stigma of match-fixing and spot-fixing was rooted out once and for all.

The allegation this time is not of match-fixing but spot fixing. The Sun had already informed ICC BEFORE the game that the game was fixed and to look out for certain patterns in batting, and it just so happed that Pakistan’s batting followed that pattern. Now there’s a chance that this was a mere coincidence, just as Amir’s and Asif’s no-balls in the fourth Test were coincidences. However, if someone is able to uncannily and accurately predict beforehand when a no-ball will be bowled or how many runs/wickets will be made in a period, then that person deserves a Nobel prize for his research in probability and prediction.

We need to let the law run its course before crying fowl.

yahiee to mei bee keh raha hoon janab…ICC was informed before the match about pakistan’s scoring pattern..not england’s …so why are we diverting attention to england?..and you know what…we can also carry out sting operations against other teams…our media is very smart these days…but these sting operations will be successful if other teams are doing something seriosuly wrong…apparantly they are not and we are…hameed was right…jo pakra jayee wohiee chor ha…if indian, brits and aussies are also doing it, ask freakin ISI and GEO to arrange a sting operation agaisnt them…

i dismissed SUN’s allegations last nite but when i saw ICC confirming the news, i had to take it seriously…this is a serious issue…someone informs ICC of a scoring pattern for an upcoming match and then ICC observed pakistani team following that pattern, what do you expect ICC to do? i do have some doubts though and I have already outlined them…till the 40th over, players who were at stage are not involved in fixing…those who were, got out very cheaply…but who knows…it could be about first 5 overs…akmal aand haeez both are corrupt…toba ha…pakistan nay to cricket ko gutter bana daya ha…
