Re: ICC to probe ‘scoring patterns’ in 3rd ODI between Pak-Eng
PD, for some reason I cannot imagine players like Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal involve in sort of spot fixing. But that is my personal opinion.
What I find most surprsing is people automatically assuming that if Pakistan innings has followed a particular scoring pattern therefore Pakistani batsmen are automatically involved. There is very little or no evidence as PD mentioned about the first 5-6 batsmen. And if that is the case then why can’t we point fingers at English bowlers or fielders?? May be they deliberatly underperformed to match the scoring pattern which ICC is talking about?
It is funny that we can believe that all pakistan bowlers have the capability to underperform and let the opposing batsmen score runs but when it comes to this report no one is even ready for a second to think that maybe English bowlers did something fishy and let Pakistan players like Shahfiq and Fawad Alam score runs..
If everyone wants to talk about these conspiracy theories, then here is mine. England had all the reasons to even fix that game just to develop fan’s interest in the dead series. I can bet if something like collapsing for 5-17 would have happened to Pakistan team yesterday chasing English target, all hell would have broken lose!!!
And by the way, as per SUN’s report there was apparently one ring leader in Pakistan squad who led this fixing in yesterday’s game. Whhat are they scared of? Why didn’t they name the player?
ICC officials on the other hand are a bunch of moron and Haroon Logart is proving to be their head moron. They created another controversy while we are still dealing with previous one and then said nothing has yet been proven in relation to the third ODI between England and Pakistan. Stupid morons could have done some more investigation before creating this chaos…
