From 1999 to 2003 is 4 years, if you have forgotten the calculations.

Thank you for maths tutoring, not ALL of them debuted in 1999, some in 2000, 2001 or even now :p

Anyways if you go an away tour and you have as many as 6-7 (out of 15) new players playing for your team, that means half of your team is young and inexperienced.

You mentioned 5 players as "new" (6-7)? even 6-7/15 is not "half" ... some maths :p.

The fact will remain the same that out of 11 players who played in each tests at least 5 Sachin, Prabhakar,Ankola/Razdan/Ayub, Manjrekar, Sidhu were wither newcomers or didn't have much experience playing tests and that makes almost 50 % unless you want 5.5 players to play.

Manjrekara/Prabhakar/Ayub ( probably Sidhu also) each had played less Test matches than Faisal Iqbal or Sami have played right now and are still consider new comers.

Sachin/Razdan/Ankola made their debuts.

Now how many is that - 7. Unless you want 7 and half I will consider that as 50 %.

Lets settle down for last, the Indian playing XI had. More than half your team was EXPERIENCED and was a great team.

It was interesting to see that both Tendulkar and Waqar Younis debuted in same Test match :)
