Like for instance if the ball just misses the outside edge of the bat, the bowler can say....Oh Behaan Chhhoooooooo******* !!"* - this is in exasperation...and is not directed towards the batsman.

Style??? so there are styles of sledging. I wasn’t aware of that.
So I guess, Pakistani sledging is not acceptable but Indian and Australian sledging is. hmmmm. very interesting indeed.

If he wants to be anywhere as great as he thinks he is, he should learn humility/modesty from Dravid, Tendu, Inzimam etc.
How convenient of you to have forgotten your naya nawela aaj ka londa RP Singh. Its his debut and he's already cussing at batsmen after deliveries.
My point is, it is unfair to single out Akhtar when everyone does it. Aggression is part of the game.

India is the most powerful cricketing country in the world. 75% of the funding for the running costs of the ICC come from India from TV rights sales etc. India has a huge clout when it comes to the decisions made by the ICC. i.e. Harbahjan Singh and Shabbir Ahmed - Shabbir gets a 12 month ban, but Harbhajan is ‘within’ the limits!

Now wait a sec, You Guys! ,,, Why mention Shoaib Akhter's name in this thread,,? Shoaib is known for his decency as far as the batsmen are concern,,,He shows them they the way to the pavilion and flies them off there with his whirlspin aeroplane. But seldom does he he swears.
Beamers are ligit bowler's error. If a bowler does not show repentence and quitly mentions it to the umpire then its perfectly ligit error as long as another one is not bowled in the same inning.
By not apologising some bowlers cease the moment as a ploy.
Indian ex bowler R Prasad knows this well,,,and so did Pak's Atta-ur-Rehman.

When so called world class bowling attach (:)) didn't have any effect obviously they had to try something to save face...hence the notched up sledging. Like Rameez said, when you have these guys break their back to thunder in and bowl at such pace and nothing happens for such a long time, they're bound to get frustrated. I think by the time 4th day started everyone was beginning to feel sorry for the Pak bowlers. I mean, can't get 10 wkts even after being given 588 runs to bowl to?

Yar aik tu I am sick and tired of these indians crying like little girls every time. Have you guys ever thought how stupid you all look whinning every time.
You guys are whinning as if bowlers should recite holy phrases while bowlng.
All you guys do is complain, complain and complain.
When other playerss like australians or southafricans can do, than Pakistani can also do it. If Indians players are so much offended than they should also do some thing about it. Why cant they counter sledge the Pakistanis. And if for some reason they cannt do it, than its their problem. Pakistan bowlers have always been agressive and thats their style of doing it .
And F & B, what kind of elegant style of sledging are you talking about? It is sledging we are talking not a freaking fashion show or gay show. Are you trying to say that Indian players sledge like that:

yes i agree, Indians shouldn’t complain about sledging, and Pakistanis shouldn’t become deeply hurt and offended after some Indian crowd doesn’t clap vigorously for a random pakistani batsman’s 50.
