Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
Now its Rao's turn to be tonked. A four and a six by Mccullum.
I wonder why Younis isnt trying Rana at the end. His yorkers are still there (as seen against England) despite his new ball horrors.

Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
I wish desidudecool was here to see the value of "having wickets in hand." New Zealand had enough wickets, and see how many runs they have scroed in the last few. Pakistan used to be the best executioner of late order hitting (kind of still is).
Unfortunately, for the past few months, we (and many other teams) have started concentrating on sending hitters early in the innings, which cause the teams to lose early wickets, and then the rest of innings is spent rebuilding, instead of sending your better batsmen early, having wickets in hand, and hitting freely int he last 10/15 overs!
I hope I don't see Afridi coming in at the loss of 3 wickets today!

Styris 86 runs. Awesome ![]()
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
48.1Umar Gul to Styris, FOUR, short and swiped to the man at deep midwicket where Naved-ul-Hasan misses it. He looks down at the ground much as a goalkeeper who has just let in a simple one does as if to say it wasn’t my fault, it was a freak bounce. But it was his fault
:shoaby:

Dude, you are overdoing it. We are not fourth graders who would get irked by your contrived “rub-in” acts. It stopped being funny a long time ago, and now you look foolish trying to be a troll. Let it go.
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
may be after last over you can expect more than this on board ![]()
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
yes indeed…
but with our setup, he probably will still be wasted…
if not then it will be a pleasant surprise…

Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
NZ 265-6 after 49 overs. it's looking ominous from PAK point of view. I know Pakistan chased down 250 odd against SLA in the first game but sides have generally struggled to chase even 200 in this competition. Pak batsmen will have to bat out of their skins to get whatever target NZ finally set them.

No, I have successfully ignored you for 3/4 months. Just giving you "friendly" advice that you could drop the act and start contributing now. You can continue being foolish for your lifetime and I couldn't care less. Thought I should do my good deed of the year and help you grow up.
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
yes..but the track is really there for batting ..not anything in it for the bowlers...
Shane's pace is the only worry...
lets see...
