This match isnt over by any means and its a tough wicket. But the way Chappell kept going on and on criticizing pakistani team left such a bad taste in mouth. He used to be insightful but I guess Aussie demise from invincibility has made him bitter and obsessive.
Its the first time I have heard a commentator criticizing a team’s huddle. (indians do it, Lankans do it)
When Pakistani team got in the middle for the huddle after dismissing australia, he was like that Pakistan should worry about getting those runs rather than wasting time for the huddle. He also had something to say about how Afridi celebrated Smith's dismissal.
wtF? "spend more time worrying about the runs th an the huddle" HAHAHAH thats priceless... they roll over AUS for 176 and they cant huddle hahahahhaa..
these things should actually make us happy.. it shows how much the aussies are frustrated that they are no longer #1.. let them whine!
^ yeah ian chappell is usually one of the more reasonable aussie commentators for sure... he is great compared to some of his idiotic countrymen who comment on channel 9 games in australia.. ian healy etc... those guys are just out of control hahaha..
I used to respect Ian Chappell but lately he's been acting like a sore loser. The way he mocked Pakistani team's huddle in the middle after dismissing Australia for 176 was most unwarranted. Is Ian out of his mind? What-else is a team supposed to do in such a situation? He used to be objective and reasonable but I guess seeing the demise of the once invincible Aussies has damaged his brain in some way. He is very prejudiced these days and talks a lot of nonsense more so than Sidhu (no offence but he talks gibberish too)
That chatterbox (Ian Chappell) was looking for a challenge from 'consistency-challenged Pakistan' and Australia certainly got one today.
Perhaps Ian Chappell is spending far more time with Sanjay Manjrekar - another one who seems obsessed with Pakistan - in the box these days than he should!
