I do consider them drugs, but in your first post you just said "they were smoking". Anyhow leave it...
The Prophet (P.B.U.H) once said that If you see wrong-doing then stop it with your hands if you have the potential and if you cannot stop it with your hand then voice your objection and if cannot voice it then condem it within your heart .... this is the lowest level of Eman!
(these are not the exact words, rather a 'salees' version)
Atleast you have some Eman (Alhamdulillah) and that little Eman errupted at the right moment (I'm thankful to Allah S.W.T that it did :) ). Actually its a tough call you know. Hum aisay zamanay mai hain where 'Fitna' is on the urooj and it is very hard to protect your Eman. Satan is working very hard unlike the momeeneen :( .... he's good at disguising things and presenting them from a different angle ... such is the dexterity that even 'eman walay' get easily trapped (referring to the sad plight of our muslim brothers/sisters).
I remember another hadeeth of the prophet (P.B.U.H) saying that there will be an era when a person will leave his house as a mo-min but will return as a munkir .... such will be the height of Fitna.
(again, not the exact words but 'salees' )
I guess this is the same era that was mentioned by the prophet (P.B.U.H). Buss Allah (S.W.T) say dua karou that he protects you and us from all sorts of fitna, Ameen!
Did you get back to your friend after the party? How about raising the level of your Eman eh! (I'm not saying that you give her a lecture but merely suggesting that you keep in touch with her and give her some 'good' company) But be careful, make sure that it does not effect your Eman negatively.
All the best! May Allah guide us all :) Ameen.
P.S: I'm sorry for turning this thread of yours into a 'bit' religious one but then ... at the end of the day we are muslims aren't we. Can't say 'Lets keep religion out of this for the moment' .... Khulam kullie munafiqat hai yeh :(
OK!....first of all i'll never have a mix party......if i reaaalllyy wanted to call a guy i'll have my parents round and it'll be an adult/young adults party......nothing to do with wetern stuff and dancing etc......unless it was ONLY girls...:D
I guess it depends upon the company one keeps.
takes his PDA out and sets a reminder for next year
thats really interesting that how eager our new generation is to adpot western culture.
I got some pics in email .. which i think are of this party only.
anyone interested can pm me.
;)
