OTOH, do you know any one who came back to you and said - "Actually, hell was not that bad".
PS: I do not believe in re-incarnation, but it's hard for me to refute those incidents.
There is something called biography, which is very good for such occasions. In case you didn't realize before you wrote, our believe is that heaven and hell are eternal abodes and there will be no earth or people to come back and tell whether hell is pleasant or not. At least correct your knowledge Sir about our belief before you write up silly questions. I hope you read my post in this thread, it was meant to extend some courtesy towards people like you and show some respect. Per kuch logon ko izzat raas nahi aati hai.
Say i am your best friend for an example. I always greet you and lend you money, but diss your parents. I reject them as if they do not exist and show no care for them. That would be quite rude wouldnt it? Especially to a creator whom gave everyone life. Now lets say i dont get on with you and sometimes even barge past you, but say salam to your parents and show friendship and respect, wouldnt that be nicer than the previous?
Whats even better than just doing that? To also be polite to ALLAH swt's creation show them the correct path, and worship Almighty RABB and acknowledge his superiority over everything... :)
bro..i am not trying to offend muslims or ur religion.but dont you think one should love and respect everyone irrespective of their religion? i guess everyone is equal in front of god no matter what religion he belongs to. is god so selfish that if i dont praise him he will put me in hell????
:D :D :D .......best of luck (to convince them this)....who knows??u urself may fall for their "submission":D ....I had allll "discussion" on this..not just in this forum, in few more forums
Just search for "fear of allah" on this forum and then search for "love for allah" or "respect for allah". I did not search, but I know what will be the results.
I do not like the word obedience actually, no one has to obey, no one has to lead. Servants obey.
Before you digress from the topic,
a) You asked chintu_bhopali to prove re-incarnation in response to his question about the proof of existence of heaven and hell.
Dont ask for proofs when your only proof is your belief. And it's not silly if I ask you did any one come back from heaven or hell to confirm it's existence. Questions do not become silly if you do not have the answers to them.
b) I wrote that I have seen a few reports on re-incarnation on tv channels and I also said that I do not believe in re-incarnation but it's hard to refute the evidence.
Your lame response was to come up with some biography excuse. If you think you can just casually refute some incidents by coming up with an excuse like this, then how can you stop others from thinking that quran is just another book written by just another guy.

Izzat ki koi baat hi nahi thi.
Aadmi ke questions se us ka zehni meyar ka andaaza ho jata hai. Anyway, to you your religion and to me is mine. Adios. Muchos gracius.
I see many misconceptions on this thread, and will try to clear them up.
The person you quoted is wrong.
The world is for everyone - Muslims and non-Muslims. Both groups are equal in one sense - they both will be prosperous and/or unprosperous. The difference in between is of faith. Allah does not restrict non-Muslims from prospering because of their disbelief. He says, when one is in disbelief, he gives them prosperity and than they start to think "I'm a disbeliever (of Islam), yet I am prospering, so I will continue to follow the path I am on right now (disbelief), and that will be better for me". So they keep on prospering, while at the same time they lead themselves farther & farther away from the right-path (belief). As for the Muslim, they will believe, and follow the right path, and they too will be granted prosperity. The difference (according to Islam) is that the Muslims will be on the right-path and the non-Muslims will be away from the right path. This will be important in the afterlife, as only the believers will be allowed into heaven, and the disbelievers will be put in hell.
Thats is not true.
Allah sent 124,000 Messengers (Prophets), but only a handful of them are mentioned in the Quran. Each Messenger brought down a system of belief (as ordered by Allah), but they are not all mentioned in the Quran & Hadeeth. Just because they are not mentioned doesn't mean that they don't exist (as sent by Allah). We, Muslims, believe that every belief (sent by Allah swt), before Islam, had been corrupted or destroyed. Hinduism and Buddhism may have been religions sent down by Allah, through a Prophet, but we (Muslims) do not know, as they are not mentioned in our scriptures. But we do know (as our belief) is that these religions are false. This does not mean that they are man-made. It may mean that they were sent by Allah, and than corrupted by man.
To you be your belief, and me mine.
I won't force you to change your mind - its up to you, and I respect your decision :)
In order to go to heaven, there are some requirementss, of which you must have every single one. Good deeds, honesty and loyalty are all there in Islam, but the most essential part is the belief in Allah & Allah alone. For example, if you want to goto a good university in Canada (and you live in Canada) you need minimum of 30 credits (courses/subjects) to graduate out of highschool, with good marks. If you get 29 credits with perfect (excellent) marks, but you fail the 30th, you do not get to graduate & cannot goto university. This is because you did not meet the requirements, regardless of how good you did in other credits. It is the same in Islam, you need to get all of the credits (requirements) in order to go to heaven. You can have have all of your requirements perfected, but if one is missing, you will not be allowed into heaven.
Yes, I think that, and whoever is Muslim should do it as well. And if they don't, they need to rehearse their knowledge of Islam.
As for God being selfish... well, he is not selfish. In Islamic beliefs, we are sent down on earth to worship him, while we live life, do good deeds, and follow Islam. If you chose not to praise him, you are discarding what Allah sent you to do, and hence your punishment is hell.
================================================
I hope I've cleared up any misconceptions, and answered everyones questions.
chintu, according to Quran and Muslim Belief (no matter how absurd it sounds to you) is that oneness of God in the universe is the basic foundation over which good deeds can be built, so it one does not believe on the oneness of God he is not among those who are liked by God (Allah).
Mother Teresa may have been a terrific person or may have been a media inspired celebrity who knows but she did not believe on the oneness of God so her matter resides with Allah and he has vowed that he will not forgive such people who forget him.
about OBL, he belives in his oneness OK granted and he may be a terrorsit or a media inspired demon who knows, again his matter rests with Allah, he may follow Mother teresa or not i am definitely not the judge.
to me Islam is what will be my fate, i am sure i will be so worried about my fate on the judgement day that i will not be looking to see what happened to ssing challenge. That is between him and Allah.
Everything is clear to me at my end. I and you fully understand what happened. So just remember the lesson I gave you and just chill. Courtesy, respect and now numbskull - Are you a paranoid??
Firstly no one is forcing anyone to do anything, in fact you are forcing yourself to stay away from the truth! You said you are accepting a challenge, which you are personally doing yourself, rather inflicting upon yourself.
O ye that reject faith - This is explaining to those who have rejected faith in Islam which you have done, wheres the problem?
O disbelievers - You are a disbeliever arnt you? Would you rather be called a muslim? If so then become one!
O unbelievers - Simple answer is to believe, then this wont apply to you!
I worship not that which ye worship - I worship ALLAH swt, you worship guru nanak.
I worship not that which ye worship - As i explained previously!
I do not serve that which you serve - This is an islamic verse, you serve guru nanak, I serve for ALLAH swt. Whats offensive and challenging, if so then become a muslim and then this wont apply to you!
Nor will ye worship which i worship - You have accepted a challenge before i even discussed with you. I worship ALLAH swt, and you worship?
Nor worship ye that i worship - As i have already explained.
Nor do you serve him whom i serve - Do you serve ALLAH swt?
And i will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship - May the lord Almighty insure we always worship him, and that we never go astray, Ameen.
And i shall not worship that which ye worship - I shall worship ALLAH swt and not guru nanak.
Nor am i going to serve that which you serve - Even a child can understand this, i am content with ALLAH swt Alhamdulilah.
Nor will ye worship that which i worship - You have made it clear havent you?
Nor will ye worship that which i worship - As said above.
Nor are you going to serve him whom i serve - Certain people have a lock on thier hearts. Have you lowered yourself into such a position? Or are you willing to accept the truth?
To you be your way, and to me mine - This is for people who dont want to know about Islam, unfortunately.
Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion - Same as above.
You shall have your religion and i shall have my religion - I am muslim Alhamdulilah, and you?
The only person here whom is blind is you my unlucky friend...
