I think you are talking simply in the context of this particular forum (Shor Sharaba), otherwise in our "World Affairs" forum, we talk not only about India, but all other countries of the world too.
Re: Shor Sharaba, this forum does not merely cater to Pakistan, but Pakistanis as well. Like it or not, a large number of Pakistanis (regardless of where they actually live, Pakistan, outside-Pakistan, whereever) still watch Indian movies and listen to Indian songs. Now, we may argue endlessly how bad it is and unpatriotic it is... the detrators may give their own justifications that it is a matter of personal choice, and that Indian performance arts are superior to those in Pakistan or that culturally Pakistanis inherited a lot of their roots from Indians anyway and that art is universal and not bound by geographic limits .... whatever the reason may be... this is true that a lot of Pakistanis patronize Indian entertainment industry. And so, they have a place to voice their opinions and discuss.
ps. Please remove CAPSLOCK while posting here, as it is considered rude and akin to SHOUTING.
I agree with Faisal. I personally dont talk too much about Indian entertainment, because I frankly dont care for the present stuff they're coming out with. But if they do come out with an artsy flick that means something, I wont hesitate to praise it, because it is art and I dont think its going to help Pakistan to boycott Indian entertainment.
Better if Pakistan builds up quality in its entertainment to attract the young generation. And its in that process now, I think.
And A LOT of posts here are about Pakistani entertainment. That is more than what you will see on any other Pakistani chat or forum.
I boycott Indian products in general.. If we support their exports, we support their economy, which supports their army, which is at war with my country...

The day I freggin' watched Border (some 5 years ago), I stopped
endorsing their movies, music and products. That movie showed how
much Indians hate our guts and would go to any extent to put us
down. That day and this day, I've never walked inside an Indian
store.
I have nothing against people personal choice and preference to watch Indian movies…that’s their own choice/right …but sharing it w/ ppl at forum and discussing it mean that you are not limiting your choice to your self..But you are suggesting and publicizing it (watching Indian movies)…the simple fact is Indian movies sucks..they are low rated form of entertainment w/ which ppl not only waste time..but also get exposure to negative media campaign, which India is so aggressively doing !! Watching Indian movies is a bad habit…and should not be promoted!! Just like smoking…you can smoke…But should not promote the idea of smoking!!
Well, I don't watch Indian movies because they are simply copies of Hollywood ones. Neither I talk about them. So, I'm clean :D

hmmm,well let me share somin,well very stupid of me..but i went into this indian music shop n asked 4 da cassete of border..n she was like amazed n surprised n goes "y do u want dat 1 for?" well i hadnt seen da movie.....(i still havent) but i like da song sandesay aatay hain.......kher well i personally tend to go 4 da pakistani stuff exept da movies n film music. i luv paki pop music but yeh i do watch some indian movies da 1 dat r really talked bout n which i think r good, otherwise i dont really watch um alot.

Why do we like to create cages on a map enforcing restrictions on ourselves... its sad to notice that its human nature to gather into groups of same origin and to label what defines "us" and what constitute as "them".
