Even though I dont agree with Muskan, her question isn't stupid and the debate whether we ought to give more importance to home entertainment, rather than foreign entertainment is a highly legitimate question.

Well u wanna know the reason.... as many of Indians have roots in "present pakistan" and similarly many of pakistanis have roots in "present India" . They ver all Indians a few 10 years back...and had similar , if not the same culture. Though devided on the basis of religion, still their tastes r pretty same; sajjad ali and nuserat fateh ali khan r big hits in India. They have roots in same traditional music.
Can u tell me, if Noorjahan decided to stay back in Bombay or dilip kumar decided to go to Lahore ? would it make any difference to their fans ? answer is big "NO "
