^ did you take a ride on metro bus? I did actually three times in last month. Quiet astonishing to complete such a huge project in a less then a year.
Let me tell you from the ground, it works and NS/SS did the marvelous job again just like motorways before.

Oh metro is coming to Rawalpindi, Multan & Faisalabad by next year, hopefully it will take off couple of thousand cars from the road !

verdict is, people like it or not sitting in your living rooms with ACs on but for ordinary Lahories that’s a miracle come true.

I dont think anyone disagrees with the fact that the metrobus is a good project. The issue is with prioritization. Plus the fact that it was rushed through in 11 months not because of efficiency, but because of political point scoring. And that has resulted in shoddy construction, ‘benefits’ of which we have already started to see. Such wastage is evident all over Lahore. Underpasses built without proper feasibility are breaking up even before full scale monsoons.
I will praise SS if/when I see even 10% of the 10 million school age kids go to school and get a chance to build their lives.
