I would just say it wasn't mine it was someone else's. And then once returned i keep it under lock and key since its such a interesting book. What book is it btw?

You need one of these:
Amazon.com: Knock Knock Personal Library Kit: Health & Personal Care

Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
When I was in grade school...I would let people borrow my mechanical pencils, but they would never return them. I used to hate those people. And actually, not gonna lie, I still feel irked as hell if someone borrows my mechanical pencils and doesn't return them. I don't know why...I don't feel the same about pens, or regular pencils or markers or anything else. =/
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
One sentence can solve your problem . . .
bleep where is my bleep book you bleep bleep bleep
1- send an email
2- set a weekly recurring appointment on his calendar titled returning Muzna's book
3- the book is okay, it is full of incorrect or incomplete information about certain secret societies which I have personal firsthand knowledge of for over a decade and a half.
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
spoke with him yesterday and told him that I need it for Friday…
explained that I can call him at home to remind him if he needs such a reminder.
and now that I’ve read your #3 don’t know if I really need to spend the time reading it… ![]()
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
I don’t believe that I need to offer any explanation…my book and I want it back now. He’s had ample time to read it and if he likes it so much then he can buy a copy for himself.
yes…I’m pretty sure that he’s simply forgetting as he’s a bit of a scatter brain…but I guess if I make myself a priority then he will remember.
very nice of you.
if he was a close friend I might have done the same or even if I had already read the book…
unfortunately neither is true and I just don’t feel obligated to be that generous with him.

yes…I agree.
but I thought I had done that already…twice before in fact.
thanks. that’s quite a nice kit…but I think it would reflect as being a bit anal…no?
besides…this is only the second time that someone has borrowed a book and not returned it.
and the previous time was a blatant attempt to irk me as the borrower admitted to a mutual contact that she was not returning the volume so as to destroy my set…malicious woman bechari.
unresolved issues much?

I hear you though…
thanks but that’s just not my style.
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
yeah he just killed the suspense and all that. :hinna:
naheeeeeeeeeee
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
This is why I would rather burn my books than lend them to coworkers. Just tell him that you need your book back urently
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
I’d reserve it for the particularly annoying people like the lady you mentioned!
It’d also come in handy if you had too many people borrowing several books at one time… I guess the kit mainly fascinates me because of the stamp! ![]()

omg.....when I was a kid I was totally fascinated by the stamps and the fervor with which the bank tellers would use them!
I always wanted one.......
update: buddy just strolled into work......without the book.
three more days left to deadline.
Muzna- the book is worth a read, it questions many things, and has its take on esoteric knowledge passed through and within certain groups and influencing modern religious code even. Much of this you may know some you may not. It's a fascinating subject though and one thing I can bet is that knowing you, once you read it you will be on amazon buying other books in this realm.
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
fascination was the main reason for picking it up.
I had stumbled upon a few theories and knew that they were addressed in it.
chalo I'll read it and if nothing else it will likely spawn some interesting discussion right here......
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
buddy walked in again without the book.......but to his credit he did later assure me that he has not forgotten and will bring the book in tomorrow.
I thanked him and left it at that for now....

How dare you handle this responsibly? Ask yourself, what would Nadz do? Better yet, is there a way this can be spun around to conclude that all men are scum?
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
^ hahaa @ all men are scum........
if only life was that easy to dismiss.....
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
Okay now I am so curious…it sounds very da-vinci-code like ![]()
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
That is why I have become a ebook fan. No one can borrow it from you
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
the more e-books become popular the more I have come to cherish my hardcopy books........
perhaps I'm swimming against the tide but I don't care.....I will rage, rage against the dying of the light.....
Re: I want my fill in the blank back!
I've read it and trust me you're not missing much its just a bunch of random historical facts strewn together to make it appear "Secret" if you know your history and do you research you'll find out that half the claims in the book are wrong. Why would you even read such a book? Are you in to conspiracy theories? If you want i can get you the Audio mp3 version of it i have that.
