Hey, don’t get me wrong…I love my dad. But recently, he’s been acting kind of…strange. I’m guessing it’s just the effects of the cruel enemy many people face halfway through their life. We like to call it “aging”.
So yea, our dad’s been saying some real random stuff lately, and it just cracks me up . What a joker, he is :).
My sister Sara is sitting on the computer, and he’s sitting nearby on the couch. So he calls her name …and my sister thought that he would begin talking, you know, so she’s waiting for him to speak…
Daddy: Sara. Sara:waiting for him to say something Daddy: Sara. Sara:still waiting… Daddy: Sara!!! Sara: Ji? Daddy: Beta, I am the only one from my villiage to still have both sets of my teeth. You should see the way I chomp on my left side.
And then he’s just quiet and he goes back to reading the newspaper. LOL! Hahah, and he wasn’t even joking around like it was just completely random!
…hahah lol..o yea and the other day, me and my older sister were watching that old movie “Gone With the Wind”, for some reason . So my dad walks into the room…
Daddy: What are you watching? My sister: Gone With the Wind. Daddy: Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn.
…then he turns around and walks out of the room, not even a slight smile on his face.
Me and my sister just looked at eachother and started busting out laughing!!..and then, later on in the movie, we realized that the “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn” line was a famous quote from one of the main characters in the movie. LOL!!! hahah omg I almost died laughing.
. What a joker, he is :).
