So i just found out my college bathrooms are coed. Im rezing and my parents dont know…what do i do?

If you're a guy, you will have to come to terms with the fact that girls poop. Also, please don't use the urinals.

my dorm had an all boys and all girls dorms too. couldn't you have asked for such a dorm that's not coed?

bathrooms are coed so what, make habit of visiting your bathroom at home before u leave for college, that can help actually to some extent.

I have never had to do that, but O boy! The stories that I have heard!
But then again, it isn't like that ALL the time. You become friends with everyone and you rarely hear/see weird things.

b) im staying in a residence. I knew it was coed but i didnt know that the guys and girls would share bathrooms. Parents dunt know this either. iM FREAKING OUT

Stark, I was worried about my parents too. My floor itself was all girls, but the dorm was not, and any male visitors used our bathrooms. You do get used to it. Just hope the guys don't use urinals. We blocked ours off with tape, but some of my male friends protested (not that we cared). Nobody wants to brush their teeth with a guy peeing right next to them.
Our showers were also just curtained off, so I was always paranoid about making sure it was completely closed properly, or hanging my robe or towel to cover any cracks and things. Don't worry. Are your parents visiting campus?

^ yeah, I agree. You can tell them you were surprised by it, and they can help you deal with it.

You must tell them about this and say you had no prior knowledge.
If you don't tell them and they still found, then they will freak out and you will be in trouble.

Honestly, I wouldn't stay in a dorm with co-ed bathrooms - that's would make me totally uncomfortable and my parents would have had a conniption.
And it has nothing to do with maturity and open-mindedness - it's just wrong.

honestly i dont know what to do. The first day i moved in i didnt realize that it was coed bathrooms just cuz thats kind of unheard of for me. I needed to wash my hands after cleaning the dorm so i want to the bathrooms. As im washing my hands a dude comes out in just a towel and starts introducing himself.....i didnt know what to do and i really dont want it to be like that everyday. Today i showered at 6 in the morning but like my parents have no clue and i have yet to actually GO to the bathroom in my dorm area...which is stupid but im like that
