X2 I like the work of Paracha you have posted. It very gently conveys the message as to how extremism is slowly creeping into our society, corrupting the naïve minds.

The Arabic version of islam (deobandism as some people call it) is almost like an internal virus or an autoimmune disease. It is pitting muslims against muslims. It’s very quick to declare muslims Kafir. It’s giving islam a bad name. The beautiful message of islam is getting distorted by this irrational and violent ideology.

I’ll put it this way, Islam is like a beautiful flower covered in thorns, no one can really ‘get’ the true essence of this flower. We can just hope and wait for someone to come forward and remove all the thorns, so Islam can be reached in its true essence, its true wonders, its true soul.
