Re: I have turned against Musharraf
I think he's power hungry because he wants to fill up his bank accounts and others are power hungry because they want to serve pakistan. Proved.
If others (BB, NS, and corrupt politicians) who filled their bank accounts had also filled Pakistani treasure and would have given developments in Pakistan that I know has happened during last 8 years, I would have welcomed them. Problem is not that they were simply corrupts, they were mega corrupts and destroyed the country due to their corruptions as well as due to their hunger for absolute power.
On the other hand, though I would have accepted moderate corruption by them if they had done goods for the country, I do not believe that Musharraf is corrupt or done any corruption.
Plus, President Musharraf also asked United Nation (in 2001, at first opportunity he got to address UN) to enact laws that would stop corruption in third world countries by their rulers and asked UN plus all world countries for cooperation to eradicated corruption (not only in Pakistan but in all third world countries), and also asked to stop movement of corrupt funds from third world countries to developed world. This was first time any person ever raised the issue of corruption in UN (be that person from western world or third world where most corruption happens), and this issue in UN is such that a corrupt person would never raise such issues.
