Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
Two are the types amongst the denizens of Hell, the one possessing whips like the tail of an ox and they flog people with their help. (The second one) the women who would be naked in spite of their being dressed, who are seduced (to wrong paths) and seduce others with their hair high like humps. These women would not get into Paradise and they would not perceive the odour of Paradise, although its frag- rance can be perceived from such and such distance (from great distance). haha one of my exes only wore hijab to hide her horrible hair, she could’nt bother to groom her hair, i heard some girls wear abaya for same reason, could’nt bother to wear cleaned ironed clothes so just put on an abaya on top of whatever they were wearing
my longest serious relationship was with a moroccan beauty, Arab (not berber), she was one of the most beautiful women i have ever met, and she wore a hijab

I haven’t explored this particular hadith in detail. However, I do recall watching a lecture by Hamza Yusuf where he mentioned this hadith and his explanation included hairstyles that were piled up to look like humps.
I don’t know the reasons behind the disapproval. I wonder if maybe it’s because it’s associated with arrogance? I’ve read that it’s frowned upon to wear a garment that trails on the ground as that is associated with arrogance. I’m just guessing here; could be totally wrong.
