This thread is not about the ‘special’ occasion. Maybe I should open a seperate thread for that?! :-p
Thanks Innocent Eyez. As of tomorrow I’ll start running every morning. Unfortunately don’t have the time for swimming regularly Mehnaz, although I really enjoy doing that.
Ok so what shouldn’t I be eating? WHat contains a lot of carbs (I have no clue)
rice,
chicken,
spaghetti’s/lasanga
fish,
no junkfood
eat alot of fruit/ veggies, dont eat after 21:00 at night. dont eat annything atleast 2 hours before going to bed.
the food you DO eat, dont put alot of salt/masale in it, because of that, your body will keep extra water inside, so hold back on that
diet butter/milk, yoghurt . (yoghurts are also fattening actually) so everything should be diet or light.
whenever your feelin hungry, take an apple,
ow and dont forget to run, everyday
Eat lots of prunes, mangoes, basically anything that will make you go to the loo atleast twice a day, youll lose lots of weight, but it will all be muscle. Its the unhealthy way to looking skinny in a matter of days.
Haww you guys are all more interested in the ‘special occasion’ than advising me :-/
So I walked for 70 mins today (and at work all day) and drank lots of water and had fresh fruit. I’ll keep doing this for a few weeks. Lets see if it works.
Haan toh special occasion … Not the right time to tell … yet :-p

You can loose 40 ponds in 1 month if you stick to it. GOOD LUCK J.
**AHA Recommendation
**The public should be aware that there are diets that purport to be from the American Heart Association that are not. The true American Heart Association eating plan gives recommended daily servings from various food categories, not specific foods. It’s a nutritionally adequate eating plan that’s intended for a lifetime of use. It can help healthy people lose excess weight or maintain a proper body weight, but its goal is not quick weight loss. The menus provided in the recently released American Heart Association No-Fad Diet book are also for healthy, sustainable weight loss over time. **Background
**A diet supposedly from our organization has been cited several times across the United States and in Australia.
The phony diet describes a three-day menu, supposedly prescribed by the American Heart Association or by the “Heart Association.” It includes vanilla ice cream, hot dogs, eggs and cheddar cheese. The diet promises a 10-pound weight loss in three days.
The bogus diet has also been cited as the Spokane Heart Diet, the Cleveland Clinic Diet and the Miami Heart Institute Diet. The poorly typed and photocopied phony diet has also been offered by mail for $2 per copy.
The phony diet is not from our organization. For years, we have recommended that Americans cut saturated fat and cholesterol by limiting egg yolks, whole-milk dairy products such as ice cream and cheddar cheese, and luncheon meats. From time to time other fad diets emphasizing other foods have been falsely attributed to the American Heart Association.
