I hope the NP you get is thick enough to have various sections in it . I also hope that you two do not like to read NP from cover to cover from page 1 to the last page in that that order. Why can’t you split that damn NP and read the section you like first and he reads the section he likes and then switch the sections ? :konfused: Either you are a troll or a 5th grader is smarter than you are.

I think you have OCD. Don't worry, I understand where you are coming from - I'm kinda the same. But not so excessive.

Btw, there was this one girl at college who hated it when somebody read her magazine before she did. It's not as bizarre as everybody here thinks.

Why don't you just set your alarm slightly earlier, so you can wait at the door, before your Dad, for the newspaper?

Basically your father is proving a point to you... he is the daddy of the house. He is smarter than you. He can set is alarm clock better than you. If you where smarter than him u would put used batteries in his alarm clock.

Why don't you ask your dad to let you read the newspaper first? Personally you should take his action as a form of training ... it is clear that you do not harbour any patience and any sense of rank or order ... Imagine how your own kids will be if they were competing with you? Train yourself to work towards raising the rank of your father and pray that God raises your rank in the eyes of your children in the future.

I feel u.... My dad is same, but its not abt news paper. Its abt the letters from the lawyers. If i get a ticket i cant hide it from my dad. I try to get to mail bfr him, but it doesnt work. He always gets to know i got a ticket ! NOT FAIR !

Daddy got the message. I managed to beat him to it today, read it for 10 mins (which is abt the time I usually take to skim through) and then surrendered. My day's been perfect ever since. :)
