Sorry if I sound shallow but I feel super-pissed when my dad gets the paper fresh off the driveway before I do and I can’t touch the paper for the rest of the day. I refuse it when he offers it to me after he’s through with it coz I can’t stand reading a second-hand paper. My dad is sensing it I guess and it’s a strain on our relationship. What to do? Do I have issues or do I just tell him straight up that look you can’t get it all the time before I do?

Major issues! are you jealous of him? what makes the paper untouched and not gone through so important? are you sure its about the paper, or does it go back in time to your dad getting, using things before? Havee you considered standing at the driveway yourself so you get the paper first?

My dad is kind of a wacko honestly I don't really like him though everyone we know seems to worship him...sorry, guys, I'm bluntly honest either take it or leave it

^^ It's not a matter of MONEY it'd be insane if I tell the newspaper guy to shove TWO of those under the gate! And regardless of who pays, he'd STILL get it coz he's a pro at sensing when EXACTLY it gets there! It's almost like he's got some bizarre telepathic connection to the newspaper dude it's weird seriously.

I like him a lot I just don't like his sixth sense at sensing the newspaper in the driveway!!!! Which makes him a wacko or sort of one in my book. I mean come on he can easily surrender that habit for ONE damn day :(

I reckon your da is suffering from an obsession by a complex, but as one-sidedness. Still, the actual state is approximately the same, with this difference, that the one-sidedness is intended by the individual and is fostered by all the means in his power, whereas the complex is felt to be injurious and disturbing.
