but here im just talking about when you're engaged/married to someone who maybe a 'fob' in someone else's eyes.. and outrightly someone makes that statement..
there are examples of bad people in all societies... the amount of times ive heard at uni that someone doesnt want to marry an ABCD girl but will date her.. tsk tsk.. neways to each their own..

I dont use the term because I have had friends that get upset at being called that by others. I just dont think its a nice thing to call someone.
people just try to find a reason to put soemone down. i find that our people actually feel pleased when they see that htye have hurt someone.
and these days yes i also hear all this looking down upon marrying soemone from paksitan.
but people don't realize everyones situation is different and they have their reasons and their certain situations for marrying where they are marrying.
i honestly do not think marriage is a bed of roses regardless of where you marry. if that was so abcds paksitani couples would not be getting divorced after 4 or 6 months in huge numbers. so this is something you can throw in thier face next time someone says this same thing to you again.
X2, we know someone who is an actual gora but he is the biggest fob we know.. he roams around in shilwar kameez and at restaurants he'll get up and sing "kal ho na ho... " or something insanely bollywoodish...

Im engaged to someone who could be classified as a FOB and I am perfectly fine with it. Can other people call him a FOB? No. Can I? Definitely, lol. I would be irritated, yes.
On a serious note, I dont think I qualify as a true ABCD. When people use that word to describe me, I get a bit peeved. I aint confused buddy. I know exactly what I am and am proud of it.
