Re: I don’t want my kids growing up in Pakistan…
If Nawaz Sharif/Imran Khan had not exploited the emotions of AWAM at that time, no one would have come for him as well .. .. People came out for Ch Iftikhar because leaders of oppositions wanted mushraf to leave and they were looking for an excuse and when they Got one .. they exploited it .. ..
People Wud have protested for AQ if the oppositions would have WANTED to make it a mess .. ..
As i explained earlier .. *180 million pakistani don’t like Zardari either .. are they coming out in the streets ? People are so busy in their lives and struggle to earn for their families that they don’t give a damn what is going on .. They feel it, when they have sometime but they can’t devote themselves for a cause. How many of us in the very thread love Pakistan and hate zardari? even if its 1 person who has kids would he leave his kids and go to pakistan and protest against zardari? *
So depending upon the crop - we dont have in Pakistan … loyal and faithful leaders !
If you have said LUMS or IBA , I would agree but SZABIST - give me a break … please
sure it is - in a country where average pay is around 6 ,000 /PM … your quoted figure is way too expensive …
if we can learn anything from current developing of Egypt, we can see for sure that people have power, but if they chose not to use it then they are going to suffer and have dictators rule them and suck the blood out of them. Its a choice that our awaam are making and they have to pay the price of their choices.
We cant follow the Egypt model - as we are simply crowd , not a nation …
us awaam chose zardari? really!
BTW, an off topic but one of the recent polls showed that amongst USA based Pakistanis, Imran is the most popular leader. That probably shows the mindset of Pakistani’s living abroad. Today if we are also given voting rights, I can guarantee you that Imran would be our next president.
No wonder - Pakistanis living abroad got no clue about Pakistani politics … Imran has no chance of even becoming a CM - yet you talk about presidency..
