Pinstripe, what’s wrong with wanting to spend your life with someone who shares the same beliefs and goals and values as you? You can be “worldy” and still be happily married to a Paki/Muslim. People can follow what they want to follow, and I have no problem with that. You can socialize with them, have friendly work/school relationships with them, but I don’t have to marry a Jew to show that Jews are great people :rolleyes:

as for the whole desi thing, well there is no denying it would be easier, and it would make my parents happy

frankly, i'm attracted to gorays, so who knows?

but my religion is important to me-i'd like someone who shares that with me
