Stop complaining about it and just enjoy the few more years that your metabolism is working the way it is right now. Once you have reached the aunty age you'll wish you'd be skinny again.
LOL@ the people who are telling you to lift weights. I'm pretty sure that you don't want to build a muscular frame, but rather have a feminine body with curves etc. Building muscles will not do the trick for you, but rather even make it worse, because the bigger the muscles are, the more calories they will burn off. So...
and the only way a skinny girl could get fat is if she had triplets and then kept on eating fatty foods.
Well If you are skinny-fat like most so called "skinny" women are, yeah a toned body is a good thing. However she does NOT fall under this category, she IS skinny.
The best weight loss food is the vegetables and simple energy drinks which keep the health in better way and no weight gain by using such things this is the best way to develop yourself habitually.
Luckily there’s an easy, fast & cheap way to gain weight naturally: GOMAD. Any “hard gainer” will gain weight drinking 1 US Gallon Of Milk A Day. This article will teach you how to gain weight with GOMAD. GOMAD: How to Gain 25lbs in 25 Days with Squats & Milk | StrongLifts.com
Never tried it myself, because I’ve never been underweight, but the logic seems legit.
This GOMAD diet looks interesting! Peheli, I know exactly how you feel. Sweet Mano, you are still so young and its a great time for you to make changes to diet and fitness now. Starting now can result in the changes your looking for down the road. I am 25, 86lbs and 5'1. I have never been able to reach an ideal wait for myself. My husband is super into working out and fitness and after Ramadan, I want to start getting back into shape by going back to the gym. I think the key thing is to get healthy FIRST by eating right and getting enough exercise and I am hoping the rest will follow as my body starts to crave more healthier food but you've gotta start somewhere I guess. Its so difficult for me to feel good in skinny jeans and stuff because I feel TOO skinny, can't stand it. I am always envious of curvier girls. I've been telling myself these days that I need to start embracing my size, whichever way it is and start getting healthy first, lets see where it goes from there...
Putting on muscle wait is a lot healthier than just putting on fatty weight. The point of lifting weights in her case isn't for her to become a body builder, it would only be healthy for her. I imagine its better than for her to do too much cardio..
So I asked the hubby about this GOMAD thing right now and after reading some of the stuff he had a pretty good laugh about some of the "facts" being said on here, for example the bit about saturated fats being healthy. Felt the need to tell people since I believed it myself before confirming it lol. I'd explain more but basically its all about packing on calories, and you can do that in other ways like eating the right things but you also need to work out with it... typical but I guess its the truth (unfortunately for us lol)...
Well the page does say, "Once you've got your goal weight - within 1-2 months - it's back to a regular diet." The saturated fats are unhealthy, but they won't be a permanent part of your diet.
I it's mostly about how milk is so easy to consume. Downing a whole gallon might not be so easy or even possible, however one could easily consume 2 liters of milk if it's taken instead of water. And you need to have a solid weight trainig routine to benefit from the this diet.
Hello guys, since gaining weight is as tough as losing it, you need to be patient to get results. Make up a diet chart to ensure that you consume more calories than what you burn.Start your day with a healthy breakfast comprising a glass of milk and a banana or a banana milkshake, whole-grain toast, a fruit and some nuts. Stick to eating more fruit than having juices.
@SaeedinPakistan- Saturated fat is not at all healthy. It’s like eating cheese and all other junk food. So no, the weight gain won’t be good. @S and S: Awww! I know how you feel Having a good figure is like a dream for very skinny girls. But you’ll gain weight soon hehe @ShinyF: I tried that thing. I used to have heavy breakfast with lots of bananas, milk, yoghurt, nuts dates. I even used to take cheese as a regular part of my diet. In the end, as I told, I gained only 1 kg weight in 3 months and I got so mad that I quit
I am 18 years old. My height is 5'6 and I weight only 93 pounds. I can eat anything and can't put on a single pound. All my life I have heard people commenting on how skinny I am and like, "Doesn't someone give you food?", "You're like a stick." and many another hurtful comments. There's been not a SINGLE person in my life who hasn't commented on my physique. I hate it. I just can't gain weight. I tried once and started eating like jungli and after 3 months I gained only 1 kg, I got so frustrated that I quit with my diet and I lost that one kg the next month. lol.
Plus my mom dad both are thin. What should I do? :(
Haters will hate.
You're metabolism is fantastic. I used to be the same and to an extent still am now. If you are healthy and feel great I would just stick my tongue out at all the haters.
^ :D
Yeah sometimes I feel good when my friends just avoid certain things saying we'll put on weight and I am like I can eat in whatever amount I want :D
