I am guessing he hasn’t told his wife about going out for dinner for sure. Though, I would want him to tell her at least. But i wouldn’t tell her as i wouldn’t want to create further problems. Going out for dinner was not planned. It is just restaurant was happen to be right there and HE asked me to go.
