Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
Itās always amusing to me when people you donāt know well, try to get fresh with you.
The only problem with that is, you canāt tell if they are trying to be funny & friendly or mean & nasty.
I try to assume that it is the former case but part of your mind questions whether it is the latter.
Itās not a comfortable feeling.
I have experienced this from at least 3 guppies recently.

Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
Iām scared, not of the pain of death, not of leaving loved ones behind (of course those are fears but not as much as this one)..butā¦whatever punishments await after death. :hinna:
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
^ repent and that fear will be goneā¦iA.
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
I have/do and make an effortā¦but the fear is still definitely there.
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
49!
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
Weāll pray that it is something less dangerous than what you fear.
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
I can definitely relate to what ur friend went through had a horrible accident in 2008 car did a couple of 360s hit the side of the highway and flipped in the air before coming to a stop on its left side..during the time it was doing the 360s and flipping in the air i literally saw the milestones of my life (good moments generally) play like a movie before my eyesā¦i was certain i was going to dieā¦but i wasnt scared my only concern was how my parents would feel when they saw my bodyā¦so while up in the air all i could do was pray that Allah give my parents the courage to be able to behold my body and give them the sabr to deal with my death⦠but there was definitely no fear actually was at peace to know i was going back to where i came fromā¦though i was in a state of awed happiness when i came out of it alive.
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
Wow. Thatās amazing.
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
I get really creeped out when I visualize or think about my body (that I love so much) rotting in some God forsaken grave somewhere.
There is a theory that after we are dead we wonāt feel anything so what does it matter,
but then there is also the concept of āQabar ka Azaabā which is very scary.
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
dude I am not sure if there is *qabar ka ezab *or not. But lets assume there is.
Dude make sure when you leave world there is enough people praying for you from heart.
Also donate your heart, kidneys liver eyes etc etc.
So you have less thing going waste in the grave and more getting used.
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
Dude enough advice now, its time to try them ![]()
come one now⦠![]()
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
Maybe the afterlife is just the last second of your life stretched out to infinity. Kind of like an event horizon.
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
maybe. but the thing is that NO ONE will ever find that out.
the thought shudders me. We all are sinners, some known sins, some unknown ones.
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
Exactly.
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
fear N worry is normalā¦everyone goes through this.
as per our faith, what we can really do NOW while we are alive in this world is to prepare ourselves for this inevitable transition from one life to the other. as far as body is concerned, it has to become what it was made of and the constituents have to return to earth. what remains alive is the rooH [soul]. we cut our hair, nails and sometimes our body parts are surgically removed and we feel no pain whatever happens to it afterwards. this is, however, not the case with our souls. weāll experience pain/pleasures according to what we did in our lives. there is a Hadees that says:
a grave is either a small jannat [paradise] or a small jahannum [hell]ā¦
weāll feel pleasure/pain depending upon our deeds in this dunyaa, just like we feel in our dreams. so, while we are in this world alive, we must live by our religious code of conduct and expect a jannat which will make our transition easier.
remember, weāve ONLY ONE life to live and ONLY once chance to earn jannat/jahannam!
Re: I am TERRIFIED at the thought of dying.
Death is a relief from all of worldās problems⦠why fear it?
Death is also the only thing guaranteed in lifeā¦
