I am already missing the nakhra,cheer chare etc.As the phrase goes “saali adhe ghar wali”.what do you guys think of your Sister In Laws?I was looking forward to it as I didnt had a sister either! Is it better to have one or you can put up with a Saala?

im an only sister,infact the only girl in the whole khandan,so my fiance doesnt have any sort of saali at all..but he's happy and to be honest I do the cher chaar n nakhrae part myself,so he is glad he doesnt have a Saali etc to put up with,or else the poor guy wud have gone mad by now ;)
just be happy,n enjoy ur relationship..sometimes saali adhi ghar wali can cause a lot of problems..n then once ur married u will have your own busy life,with no time for saalis and there nakhray!

Ummm, I have 3 sisters and there's no nakhra, chair chaar, etc. etc..... they all maintain a respectful relationship with my husband... from a distance. You have seen too many movies it seems.

I have two saalis and we wonder what would we had done without them when we had kids. There are very few people i trust to leave my kids with, saalis are one of those.
