^ I remember Mario Bros. I enjoyed playing that game......especially Mario Bros III....the graphics in that game were much more bigger, detailed, and cuter! I never liked the princess. Her only role was to be damsel in distress. It would have been cooler if she were given more opportunities to kick butt. I even remember watching the Mario Bros cartoon. I can't decide who i like better. They're both so cute. Often times, I liked Luigi cuz he seems so simple and sweet. But then Mario just looks like this adorable fat juicy marinara covered tomato that I wanna bite into! LOL....the good ole days!
Reflecting over these memories makes me realize that creativity is soooooo powerful. Such as music, for example. It's kinda cool to think that after dying, you're leaving behind a work of creative expression for people to enjoy. And isn't it cool how songs become intertwined with the history of our lives? The concept is so powerful. You listen to a song, and it reminds you of your childhood. You listen to another song, it reminds you of when you were a teen in high school. Then another song reminds you of your first crush or an incident in your life. They're almost like little divider tabs for the folders of our lives. Call it nostalgia or reminscing.......it's fun to revel in a song from the past.
hun, don't go back in time too much! your too young for that! Stay busy making memories for when you are truly older! Because today will soon become the past, and you'll have plenty time to reminsce when your 90 with your grandkids. So make today a happy memory, or write a song for today!
i'm going to go play mario kart now at my school with someone (yes, they have all the video games with a flat screen in the lounge at my school, hee hee!!).
