Re: I am nobody’s poodle
Hmmm, when the army does it, its sensible, when a politician does it, he’s bashed.
double standard:
A set of principles establishing different provisions for one group than another

Re: I am nobody's poodle
Yes indeed! As a nation we ought to come to terms with the requirements of our club (that just happens to be US-club). However at this stage if Army is following the rules, they are doing sensible things.
In future when we get poltiko rule in Islamabad, they must follow the club rules as well.
Re: I am nobody's poodle
You are acting just like the goras "why does the world hate us" without realizing that its the policy of the government which is the real target of the world. Its the same case here, I don't like the government and I criticize and you cry as if I hate Pakistan. Wakeup dude, I love my country and thats one of the reason I criticize its bad actions because I want it to be prosperous and competitive in rest of the world but doing so should not require us to sell our souls or body.

And you would quote JI for "Pakistan's official stance" on America. Man! Get your references straight.
Well if you like, I can quote your love-of-life medias like Fox, CNN :p ... and no! Jamat Islami is just a crap to me so I wouldn't look at what they utter anyway.
I see your references as being challenged, you were either living on Anarctica or somewhere when the news were being published each year post 1990 when Pakistan was being branded terrorist by US... read Sabi's post and Pressler amendment, there was one more amendment which I can't recall now. There was a reason why we never got F16s, but barely some corn and soya bean.

Pakistan only suffered from severe US sanctions under two circumstances:
Of course this was bound to happen and will happen. We HAVE to stop relying on US alone, just like your own mantra regarding China's dependence on US.
For the rest of the time, either there were no sanctions or even if things were not rosy, it was more like "Uncle Sam" saying Come-on bud, you are not supposed to that. Don't do that again otherwise I'll be unhappy with you.
and that bud sends missile our way without seeking any permission or acknowledgement AFTERwards.
Re: I am nobody's poodle
Bodies are sold by individual prostitutes living or working in bad (or foreign) areas (or lands).
Nations on the other hand, come together for "mutual" benefits. I hope you understand the finer aspects of diplomacy.
Re: I am nobody's poodle
I didn't mean it that way but you really want to mean it this way then there are few more twists, do you remember "Leghari" family catching someone and handing over to US for money? yeah, that was literally "selling a body".
Re: I am nobody's poodle
So you want to support those who live and commit crimes in EU, and US. Not just ordinary crimes like mugging someone for $10.
We are talking about serious crimes including terrorism. Then you support those who after committing these crimes, put their tail in the legs and run for Pakistan. So now you want us to keep these terrorists safe in Pakistan? Really strange logic my friend!
Just a reminder to all those NRPs living in EU and US. Obey the law and do not commit acts of terrorism. You have already sullied our names by following the lawless people from Middle East.
