the cabbage soup diet really works if you try it for 2 weeks straight.

^Stylo, pleats on the back will draw attention to her back and that she doesn't want =)
marwah, i'm looking for an example of a "sweetheart gala"
Mall, an A-line kameez is tapered at the top and flares out at the bottom. If u have a heavy bust this wudn't look flattering at all. I'd try and incorporate diff styles of damans and sleeves into u're outfits to draw attention away from u're upper body.
Once again chose soft fabrics that drape well and contour u're body-type rathar than the "clinging" lawns!
If you don't have heavy hips and thighs you can def opt for capri's, but if you do they'll make u're hips appear larger.
Embelish u're outfits with sequins and adorn them with pretty laces around the sleeves and daman of the kameez, wil def work for you.
Stay clear of large prints and select small prints and pair it with a single color shalwar/capri.
God, I am so happy I joined GS... its the best decision I have ever made in life! hehehe :D Gina, stylobabe and others... u guys are so helpful, thanks alot! Gina you are rite, I cant wear pleats cus it will enhance my upper back portion and as a result the extra fat will b visible on both sides of my upper back. I had flat hips so cant they put pleats on hip area? My thighs are okay, a bit fat only but not heavy so I can definitely wear capri. Infact I think I have long legs so trousers or capri should look fine on me. hmmm... my bust is also medium(but definitely small if you compare it with my whole body esp upper), so dus that mean I can wear A line? Gina... I will send you a private message some time... maybe we should meet up :D how old are you and where are you working? PM me alrite bye!
As I said mall that A-line kameez'es are tapered at the top and will def enhance u're upper back region (which we're avoiding) and anarakli's tend to do the same so these 2 styles u shud stay away from. Full sleeves will work best for u, embellish them with pretty laces to draw attention away from the upper back area. If you have flat hips and long legs you can get straight trousers or capri's that have small slits on either sides.
The kamees shud fall on u're hips and be "snug" but not tight so u have to be carefull. Organza, net, lace or anything that's stiff and requires heavy lining will make u appear heavier.
And to answer u're last question, i'm a freelancer and work for most of the Pakistani Music artists that come down to perform. Sure PM me anytime..

Re: I am new here and need a style check!
btw i found this funny site with a lot of how tos:
How to Dress to Hide Broad Shoulders
Step1
Wear close-cut necklines rather than square or boat neck styles. Necks that are scooped are fine if they have a narrow scoop, and high v-necks that draw the eye away from the shoulder area but don't plunge and accent the bust are also good.
Step2
Choose jackets that have no details or color changes at the shoulders or upper sleeves. Look for very narrow lapels and avoid shoulder pads or pleats.
Step3
Look for blouson or blousy sweaters and dolman sleeves that are wide at the top and narrower at the bottom--sometimes called bat sleeves. Necklines should be more vertical than horizontal.
Step4
Longer garments with simple lines work better as do loose fitting soft form styles that drape the body with lightweight fabrics. Avoid boxy styles and anything that fits tightly across the bustline or shoulders.
Step5
Select wrap front dresses and blouses that aren't made out of overly clingy fabrics. Avoid puffed sleeves, gathers, detail work such as beading and glitter, ruffles and shirring around the neck or shoulder area. Wide belts are not a good match either and avoid empire waistlines which draw the attention to the the bust and shoulders.
Step6
Looking great is only a matter of knowing what works best on your body type. A few simple fashion tips will have you looking like you already have the body you always wanted.

Why wud u want pleats on the hips? On the kameez?
no i dun want on kameez(on the backside)... i thot maybe u can put pleats on onlyy hip area... if u dunwant on back,, is it possible?
Nope, pleats are usually for "tight" fitting kameez'es.. and they wudn't work for you.

Re: I am new here and need a style check!
Join the gym my lovely- the exercise does more for your self-esteem than anything else, thanks to the lovely endorphins that are released by the brain. Don't worry about having a body like 'Salman Khan'- we all have different body shapes (pear, apple, heart, etc). Work on feeling confident in your skin and the task of being stylish will become second nature. x

POSTURE POSTURE POSTURE..
i dont care if u have to put a book or bookS on ur head and walk in a straight line. Sit up straight with ur chest popping out - YOU MUST fix ur posture. I find that when ppl sit sluggishly, their backs get CHORA, and thats how u get flubber in the wrong places...like ur back (i struggle with the same thing...) for that u have to lose weight overall, and hten maintain it.
Excerise for 30 minutes daily... no sundays off!
GOOD LUCK :)
