Congratz to both of you. It will be interesting to see who you both vote for in the next Presidential election. Last night I was watching the democratic debate and it featured a new U.S citizen...I have seem most of them go Democrat.

I was emotional too I felt like my loyalty is to USA alone because I have/had a better life here than I ever did back home. I appreciate the freedom and opportunities I got here.
Being back home was like being in a prison. No offence, I am sure this is not how most people’s experiences have been but this is how I felt.

as Asif said, we have been paying "tax dollars" all this time whether as F1, H1 or Green Card, as US citizen we can use 'vote' now to try making changes.

Also, he mentioned that the he is a Citizen of both U.S and Canada in an earlier post so he is paying taxes to both countries. I wonder where Canadian tax dollars are spent. :)
