Hypocrites

Probably my biggest pet peeve is dealing with hypocrites and the worse amongst the hypocrites are those who as I would describe, *“naiki ka musalla pehen laytein hein, lekin andar kay kartoot subhan’Allah!” *I hate seeing others fooled by their naiki *act, *but to expose their hypocrisy would bring you down to their level.

How do you deal with them? Confront the hypocrite, expose the hypocrite and his/her hypocrisy to others so others aren’t fooled by them, or do you just say, Allah toh dekh raha hai and let Him mete out his punishment?

Re: Hypocrites

How do you know abt andar kay kartoot?

Re: Hypocrites

Because most people aren't as smart as think about masking/hiding their andar kay kartoot.

Re: Hypocrites

you’re a hypocrite man, trying to tell me to protect my izzats and luring boys to your yard with your cuppycakes  WHAT IS THIS HUH.

Re: Hypocrites

:sid: I did get a marriage proposal after feeding the lot of them the cupcakes. I can’t help it if the cupcakes were divine.

But you must protect your izzats at all costs and no making brownies - otherwise it’ll bring all the boys to your yard :emmy:

Re: Hypocrites

In which case you can ignore them, their kartoot will announce themselves.

Re: Hypocrites

First, not everyone knows about the andar kay kartoot, aren't we doing a disservice to those in the dark by not making them aware of the truth? And second, hypocrites tend to be narcisistic, the longer they pretend to be something they're not, the more they begin to believe their own publicity. So isn't outing them a public service for everyone involved?

Re: Hypocrites

^ I'm not sure what you mean by public service for those involved. I personally don't "out" people unless there are very strong reasons to do so. I believe in the idea that Islam encourages us to hide the flaws of others so that Allah hides our faults on the day of Judgement.

Re: Hypocrites

If you are 100% positive about "andar ke kartoon" then I say that try to confront them first. If you cant then warn the ones closer to you. Baqi poori dunya ke theka tou aap ne liya nahi hua, let them learn from their mistakes.

Re: Hypocrites

i will never never.. expose anyone "under/bahir k kartoot" that is not my job, period. in my little life so far i have tendency to get humped by such people, but i just forgive them and move on.

Re: Hypocrites

what if their "andar ke kartoot" pose a danger/threat to someone you love or care about?

Re: Hypocrites

that is a different scale, i was just talking about myself.

Re: Hypocrites

:D truer words haven't been spoken.

Re: Hypocrites

If their andar ke kartoot are affecting me or the people I know, I would confront. Better till, I would leave them to their Creator because the hypocrite, (MUnafiqeen) are the most hated creatures by the Almighty Himself. The best on my part, as a human, will still be to do sabar and suggest the people who are affected by the hypocrites, to do so too.

Re: Hypocrites

Keep an eye on their Naiki and ignore the other aspects .

Re: Hypocrites

I swear at them

Re: Hypocrites

You're absolutely right. Maine pooray duniya ka thayka nahin lay rakha hai. Those who need to know and who are impacted, already know. And most others clue in with time. A false idol will be outed - it's inevitable.

As for confronting the person, I've left it at holding up a mirror so that the person realizes their hypocrisy is known. Beyond that, well Allah toh dekh raha hai.

Re: Hypocrites

funnier still, people do have it back to them, one time or other. Its just a vicious cycle.

Re: Hypocrites

Holding up mirrors does nothing for such people. Sab dekha howa he

What, no milkshake?
