sorry yeah ur right x2 & sara...oh well. Tough luck I guess. Shouldn't have used those tampons. Did it hurt or sumthing hwen u used tampons? How did u determine that tampons 'affected' your hymen..........
interesting. have u talked to your primary care physician or ob-gyn about this yet? It'd be interesting to hear what he/she has to say.

Ok so maybe she is lying, but it could be that at one point in her life she made a mistake and has repented for it, and wants to be able to get married and not have her reputation maligned by her husband in case he's one of those really strict "my wife must be a virgin otherwise she's out" kinda guys. Maybe she's just not comfortable telling her true reason for needing such a procedure. I guess we shouldnt let our imaginiation run too wild and just answer her question about the doctor. Rest is between her and her God.
Guys can easily scoff at such a thing because they can do all the sh*t they want in the wrold and not have to worry about such things, but for girls, especially in pk, its not that easy. I was skeptical about this whole thread at first too, but whatever its not our business and if we can help her, we should.
the only sensible answer so far.... even if the thread starter is cutting some cheap prank.....
Or maybe she is really looking forward to a sincere and devoted relationship with her future husband....

Very well said Riya...The best opinion tht I have read so far here...:)...I guess the thread has provided its entertainment to all...It really is so true...no matter wat the dudes have done...it is "expected out of them cuz they r BOYS, and ofcourse Boys will be Boys"!! Everybody jumps on any such a slight inclining that the girl may have done something wrong cuz her hymen may not be there.I personally have heard of divorces happening on the wedding nights(the reasons are usally not told...but ofcourse it doesnt take a rocket scientist to determine wat the reason may be)...While on the other hand men may be boasting around in their boys club of all the "victories" they have had.
anyway like you mentioned Riya that those who cannot provide the information she asked for should get off their bandwagons and let it be.
And for the thread starter think it out...is it such an important thing that you are willing to go under the knife...as to speak. The general Anethesia in itself is really risky for a procedure that poses no immediate threat to your life. Thats my humble opinion.:) I would suggest you talking to your husband to be or just let it be.
