Thats not all true buddy…Dont know which type of family ur coming from but…normal couples do have their own secrets that they keep away from their parents or whatever. I mean if i loved my wife, shed be the first person to know about the stuff i go through everyday. Once u get married and have kids, I think my wife would be the only person i would trust with my good and bad secrets!

because i understood you placed parents love above couple love in terms of conditionality…and on that issue i don’t agree…

i think there is no uncondional love in reality…BUT people HAVE to believe in their utopic unconditional love to have the amount of trust needed for a relationship to work…

it is as in economy, if you don’t trust in growth, you don’t buy and then economy is down…and you think you were right no to trust:D…well with love it’s the same if you don’t trust, some secrets will biuld china wall btw the couple…and eventually it will break the couple bond…and you’ll be glad you had not trust in the first place:D…this is the case of a LOT of western couples:D

Fortunately, for most of the menfolk here the sweetest, the most unselfish, earthly, heavenly love we have seen is from our mothers/parents. It seems you womenfolks have not been that fortunate enough.

On a seperate note, the consumerism-based economies will eventually fall in the long run, IMHO, anyway. There is another emerging class of economy which doesn't have that glitter but will eventually prevail. That is the savings-based economy of countries like China and India.

I agree especially with what you said about parents feeling useful when you involve them in your life. However if you are living separate from your parents i dont think there is a need to disclose detailed information about your finances. Asking for advice on such matters (as you mentioned) before is a great idea because your parents are wise and have more experience then you. Now with that said …that doesnt mean you listen to them and ignore your wife’s advice. You have to use common sense and go with whatever is best for you and your family.

Also…please please for the love of Allah dont tell your wife that your parents come first. They should both come first. You should never have to choose. EVER!
