Husband Material

You would have better chances if you had a college education. Its not just about degrees, you know. My husband was making 36k a year in FL (which was peanuts) when I married him 6 years ago and all he had was his car and a rental apartment (and he was a bit overweight too but he’s good looking :p). The main thing was that he had a solid college education which did make a big difference and thats why I even considered him, he is really really ambitious and hard-working too which was evident from the way he spoke.

When I look back upon those days, I smile :). We’ve come a long way since then (MashaAllah). You should definitely get a better education, it makes a big difference in how people look at you.

P.S. Certifications are not considered college education, thats just technical stuff. Go for Bachelors in any area, it will give you a lot of exposure and broaden your horizons. Go part-time, if you can’t go for a full-time degree.
