This competition is everywhere not just pakistan..as for husbands not being allowed here..then yea as chips said that might be the case in govt hospitals but private hospitals do allow (not just agha khan..I went to ziauddin)but its not a popular trend here cause of the sharam haya sorta concept..
My case was complicated or else I would have allowed him to be there:hypo:
I had a private room in which i stayed..even in the labour room, when I was called for checkups they had a separate room for each patient..and separate delivery room aswell.. So mom, MIL and hubby were with me throughtout..even in the delivery room..until the actual delivery..which took 5mins:konfused: it might sound weird but only my MIL was with me in the delivery room(I was there for 4hours waiting for the doc) cause hubby and mom were resting a bit lol since they had been with me through the whole night..so in the end only MIL was left who kept on rubbing my back and giving me zamzam:wub:
