I was jealous until i read that one pious and deendaar woman of this world is equivelent to 70 (or so) hoors of jannah.... subhanalah... i read it in a book of hadiths but im not 100% sure, and the ratio may not be exact i rem it being near one hundred... seriously guys... we are HOT mashallah in the eyes of Allah!!!

no offense, but i don't really get why people are jealous of hurs. i mean, don't you think Allah swt will provide you with whatever you want ? there will be no jealousy in Jannah. i think people who are jealous of hurs have self-esteem issues to be honest.

i think if i remember correctly they are supposed to be young virgin maidens with dark eyes who are promised to the men of Jannat. now whether this is an allegory (as this would seem exciting to men and make them act islamically in order to receive such an award) or if this is actually true, is only known to Allah swt. i personally think the 72 virgins is an allegory and only Allah swt knows what heaven will be like, if we are blessed and fortunate enough to make it there.
