Just wondering, how many of you women(esp married ones) are jealous of the “Hurs of Jannah”?I just don’t know why i envy them so much…and i cannot picture my husband with those beautiful damsels.
Re: Hurs of Jannah
Good question muslima. Another similar question , how many of you would like to be with your husband in Jannat ? Would you rather be not with Ghulman's they are male version of Hoors, if you do not know ?
Re: Hurs of Jannah
I just want to be with my hubby anywhere, and so does he. ![]()
Re: Hurs of Jannah

not jealous of hoors. I'ld just be lucky to get the ticket to heaven that you seem to have in hand :)
Re: Hurs of Jannah
Don't think about what's in heaven, concentrate on trying to get there. b/c nobody is guaranteed.

Hmmm. I hear that things in Jannat would very very different. Our needs and desires would be different. There would be no concept of jealously.
And like Femme mentioned, I think I rather first pray and be on the right track to get in through the gates of Jannat!

Femme i'm not saying that i have the ticket in hand to enter Jannah rather wondering how will it be in Jannah . I'm just trying my level best in this duniya to get an easy entry into jannah inshAllah(as the rest of the Muslims do) and hoping the best from Allah swt.
Re: Hurs of Jannah
***Women ar supposed to be 18 yrs Old and Men around 30 yrs old in Jannah
Getting that young body back would be reward enough for all don't you think......:biggthumb
Re: Hurs of Jannah
Ladies would have the same option avaliable ... its just not very much highlighted by scholars as it seems odd to say it ...
Jannatee would be treated equally, rewards would be the same, male or female does not matter

Well said . You are not doing anything against Islamic teachings by pondering on this question. Quran challenges( not in negative sense) the believers to ponder on verses of Quran at so many places in Quran.
This pondering should be a source for increasing our eman. If we get a negative vibe during this pondering and overcome that negative vibe that is aother form of Jihad which in turn will inshallah please Allah.
Re: Hurs of Jannah
i've never really understood why theres so much debate over whats available in Heaven, esp for women. i mean heaven is heaven, obviously ull get what u want..IF you get to that place. :(

This leads me to believe that Hoors will be there for taking good care of the Jannati male and Ghulman ( male version of hoors) will be there for taking good care of Jannati women. Since in Jannat our needs , wishes and routines will be entirely different therefore Hoors and Ghulamns will not be there for any worldly pleasure of men and women.
Wallah Alim bis sawab. Allah knows the best.

She never said anything about having a ticket to heaven in hand. She just asked if you get jealous thinking of your husband with hoors. She never mentioned anything about being in Jannah but she only mentioned her husband with the hoors.

Same can be said about pretty much anything in the near or distant future. Yet we talk about things such as careers we'd want to do years from the present day, what kind of person we'd like for a spouse, how many kids we want to have, what kind of house we'd like to live in. None of it is guaranteed though. For all we know, we can die the next day or even sooner. That doesn't stop anyone from talking about all these hypothetical topics.

Are you sure about that? I've never heard of anything like that before. I keep hearing that anyone would get whatever they desire. Maybe if we imply that they desire their own versions of hoors, but I haven't heard of any explicit mention of them.

Please read post 13 and combine it with post 17. That might help you understand your question.
Re: Hurs of Jannah
a scholar told me that if u don't want anyone else in Jannah other than ur husband (or wife if u're a male) then that's what u will get, and u won't get something u don't want.
