hunger

I wanna be like my husband. he eats only once a day , at night when he comes home from work and just doesn’t feel hungry throughout the day at all. Mujhe bhook lagti hai mera bohot bura haal hota hai :naraz: I wish i could do that, actually i could but i’d get VERY hungry. So how do i stop my hunger? I think this will be good for my wallet and waistline.

lol! r u sure your husband is not eating out :p. Just kidding! but its not healthy yar to have only 1 meal a day. I say, instead of trying to be like your hubby you should get him 2 change his habbit somehow.

Don't stop your hunger Sara, just control your portions. I, too, feel hungry throughout the day, but I am working on controlling what I eat and the quantity. I know it's easier said that done. But write down a goal. And find a motivating factor, and go with it.

Like the problem with me has always been: I'll start tomorrow! And you know, the "tomorrow" never comes.

So, why don't we do something together and keep a check on each other?

i just wanted to say that there aint no hunger pangs like those of a pregnant lady.
even if i had cereal just an hour ago, i get such crazy, gotta-have-food-now, NOW, hunger pangs that i never had before. and drinking tons of water doesn't help.

Nah... he won't change his hbaits nor i'm gona force him. it's not even abt control, he really doesn't feel hungry. I just wnat to know how i can get to that point, where i dont feel hungry that much either.

Yeah ill be happy eating all i want but then ill be unhappy coz i’m FAT and can’t fit into anything nice and look hideous. and that the only thing getting thinner is my wallet and bank account cz i spend so much onf ood :grumpy:

Eat food but get plenty of exercise and occupy urself when at home so u don't think abt food as much. Go for a walk in the park, watch tv, read a book, do some cleaning (sorry 4 this 1 :D).

Start by reducing the amount of food you eat.
When you eat lesser your body gets used to it
and therefore requires lesser which in turn
should help you with your hunger pangs.

Reduce little by little, trust me it works.

Im the same way... most of the time I could go through a whole day and not eat if im busy, but if I get idle time then Ill think about food and just crave it. What about people like me who donnt get hungry really rather WANT to eat? I think thats worse.

Sara stop chewin gum throughout the day if thats something you normally do. I find that chewing gum makes me really hungry really soon after I have eaten a meal.

BUt he wl have to change it na if he wants to remain healthy. The fact that he is not controlling but just doesnt feel hungry is actually not good. It might work for you guys now keeping him slim but in the long run it wont be good. You should have him see a doctor who can prescribe him something so that he eats proper meals which are needed for a good digestive system :).

Eating once a day is totally wrong - we should be eating 5-6 small meals a day!

You have a fast metabolism, thats why you feel hungry throughout the day. This is a good thing and not a bad thing.

You should eat every 2-3 hrs a day even if its something small like an apple.

idk guys, eating decent stuff when you are hungry only is still better than eating more.

omg im hungary constantly through out the day but i dnt over eat just stik wiv small portions and noway u shud eat 1 meal a day, always have ur three meals or 4/5 smaller 1's throughout the day thats wat i do!

what exactly is a small meal?? thats the part i get stuck on..lol! i mean is half a roti with salan considered a small meal?...if so,what if thats your usual meal and you only have it twice a day and are trying to lose weight?Wont eating 5-6 times make you gain. I dont know im baffling! probably dont make any sense!

what you should do is...divide your meals in 6 small portions, and eat them throughout the day..

Drink loads of water.. and start smoking ( it'll take your hunger away )...jk..
