Its interesting that some of the Islamic countries in the gulf have pledged support to the new egyptian government, the same countries who are supporting the islamists in Syria.

Its called sectarian divide. In Egypt they didn't want a "democracy" as result of people uprising so they are supporting ouster of such government.

El Baradei is gone now, but I don’t get why he was there as deputy PM in the first place. If Morsi was subverting the electoral process / democracy, then the civil society should have put tabs on them so that they would stick to the narrow path. I mean it happened in Bangladesh even if the country is not perfect.

The regimen has used flase flag operations in the past, something to keep in mind.

Agreed.

The easiest thing would have been to wait them out. Even if it takes a year, eventually people would disperse. In the mean time they should have worked with all sides to draft a constitution that took the needs of all groups into account. And then, after the constitution was established, hold elections and if the Brotherhood wins again, so be it, but this time they would have to abide by a constitution instead of making their own.

This isn't constructive. The army is at fault for killing civilians. No questions there. But by focusing exclusively on the army's actions you absolve the Brotherhood of their infractions, perhaps the most egregious one being the drafting of a constitution that places more precedence on Muslim views rather than incorporating the beliefs of all *citizens. *

Everyone is to blame, they're all backwards. Why are the Brotherhood getting their supporters out on the streets again? Sending them out like lambs to the slaughter. The military, you would have thought would be ashamed of themselves after the huge international outcry but no they continue. I am beginning to think an iron fisted dictator is the only way to rule in these backwards countries.

Libya was most stable under Gadaffi, Egypt under Mubarak, Pakistan under Musharraf.

there was some members of this forum who was celebrating the Military coup as a victory for the pro secularist camp i remember reading their comments, they very quiet now!

This amount of killing is ridiculous what was the general or leaders of the army thinking!
