-HUMSAFAR-

re: -HUMSAFAR-

now isn't that a straight personal attack and too much anger from an educated lady to someone she doesn't even know personally?

re: -HUMSAFAR-

u don't have to quote anything millionth time. everybody knows its a drama and everybody knows dramas r not real life. we r just talking abt fareeda that wat she did is not justified. educated women are or arn't heartless is not the debate but in real life u still hear horrible things educated mils do n say. being educated is not a criteria of being a better person.

Hopefully we can REFRAIN from personal attacks even this is an online forum where most of us don't know each other and probably will never meet. Thus, it makes it a safe haven to OPENLY discuss issues of various subjects without fear of reprisal. Based on my intrepretion of the drama alone and the fact that Ashet has only met his first cousin once or twice it shows that Baseerat did not have any meaningful relationship with his sister or niece. this could be because he married a rich woman and was busy with other aspects of his life. However it does show that he is profound remorse of his behavior and he clearly says to his wife that Brothers should not be like me in one scene. He on brings his sister to his house and pays for her treatment but it is too late for him to really do anything for his sister. Her final dying wish is to find a suitable
Match for her daughter. A light bulb goes off in his head. He will do this hook or crook, come hell or high water . In my own experience I seen men act like this. They will listen to their wives their entire lives and then an event changes their mind. It woul have far better if he had a more balanced approach after he had gotten married. Lesson is you shouldn't keep a man away from his family for too long. Of course Baseerat is to blame for this. He should stood up for his rights a long time ago. But marriages with class difference sometimes have these problems. Again most is know of spineless men and men who have will of steel. They get their way no matter.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

^ lolz that's what I was referring to earlier in my post. Getting all worked up on a fictional situation. We could have easily been to chaand and returned in the time and amount of effort that has been wasted in discussing these REAL life scenerios

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Somewhat agree with Mabrook about Fareeda! What I don't understand is that if Fareeda is only reacting this way because of her husband's harsh words then why not take it out on him when he was alive? why not confront him and throw tantrums like any normal woman would? why pretend to forgive him and be all sugar sweet to him when he apologizes to her later? why channel all that rage and nastiness towards a girl who has never personally harmed her, why destroy her son's life and then go on to wish death on her granddaughter just because she is a 'thorn' in her plans, whats with the psychotic passive aggressive behavior and all because she has issues with her dead husband?? that does not make sense at all...so far she has not mentioned her reasons as such to anyone except Khirad when she was throwing her out, and all she said then was some psycho babble about her background, class, insults to her parents and upbringing and how she was not worthy of being a part of her family.

just cannot relate to her character, someone who uses her own son, sister and niece to settle a score with her dead hubby or placate a bruised ego is no victim. machiavellian? yes...victim? no!

it's actually called the scientific method. you can read the works of Peirce or Kepler for more information.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Asher did a pretty good job at looking like a mummy's boy, however Freeda didn't necessarily looked like a lovey dovey and clingy mother who would go to such an extreme extent for her son's 'happiness'. In fact, I'd describe the mother-son relationship as quite reserved, mundane and formal at most of the time.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Yes and nor is being educated the criteria for being cold and heartless, genius.

Horrible people do horrible things - it isn't dependant upon your education or social status. For the million terrible things you've heard about educated chicks - well, I've got a million for the uneducated ones. Going back and forth about fiction is different and taking it "educated women are horrible" is different. That;s why 2 people have stated: learn the difference between REEL and REAL life.

Now, I will not waste my time typing to someone who cannot see the difference. Good day. =)

re: -HUMSAFAR-

http://www.doseofme.com/2012/02/12/humsafar-extends-its-episodes-from-21-to-25/

So apparently, there are 5 more episodes to go. I don’t see enough material left for more than 2 episodes. I hope it’s not going to get redundant with similar sort of scenes and many more commercials.

Where r u Ashykh?

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Despite my initial strong reservations about this serial, I have to admit it's emotional porn. Plays with your head very well and the execution of the rather banal storyline is about as perfect as one can expect from Pakistani television. The current episode took the cake in terms of believable sappiness and there's MAJOR drama in the next one.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Wow vat a scene, vat dialogues at the end. Showed the real strength of Pakistani dramas and why we are crazy about them. :k: GREAT job Team Humsafar!
The next episode better not make me cry buckets of tears!! :o Btw, loved the whole opera music thing going on in the promo. (is that Dexter’s music??)

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Although, in an article posted here it says apparently humsafar has been extended to 25 episodes I pretty sure next weeks episode is the last one after watching the preview...
About today's episode slow yet again! Actually in terms of the story nothing much happened except of course Ashar releasing he still loves khirad and those beautiful dialogues... I think they have done it this way to save the best for last. Wow next weeks preview looks intense and the music too suggests it's going to be a very emotional one.
