and yeah fawad is that shy & reserved in real life, even back in school & university he was a little to himself and some people actually used to think he is a stuck up.

ok so i just watched it n now v can say how different ppl they are fawad is so humble n reserved he was the same in nadia khan show i remember n mahira khan omg she was talking so much n naveen so composed n sweet girl lolz really liked it loved the bloopers :) loved mrs mohsin call i want son in law like u hehehehehe he was feeling so shy i wish v could have seen more bloopers :)
Wow great show! Really goes to show that it is acting....and real life personas are different. Fawad I thought did a great job. He came prepared and very well rehearsed. He did another phone interview in which he isn't as composed. Naveen Waqar looked so sweet and professional. As for Atiqha Odho she is a senior artist. No comments on her. The only one who seemed over was Mahira khan. She came across as the weakest link even though she has the strongest most positive role in the play. In the final product/play her role/acting totally rock but looks like she really hasn't earned respect of her collegues. I felt like the show didn't and Fahad didn't really take her seriously. I saw her hosting the Nadia Khan shown several times and she was extremely annoying and didn't seem well versed and polished as a host. However goes to show what a good director can do. .I think the role of Khirad is a once in a lifetime event for actresses like Mahira. Maybe she has matured ....kind of reminds me of Sammiyya mumtaz's role of Saba in MZzb. She did a great job but I didn't like her subsequent roles in Yaariyan and Hale Dil .Something just clicked with Mahira and Fawad as an onscreen couple.

I agree with everyone who said Mahira khan was annoying. She was!!!! I liked Fawad khan although he didn't talk much and was reserved. I absolutely loved Naveen Waqar. Notice how Atiqa Odho praises Naveen more than Fawad or Mahira.
Atiqa Odho still has a chip on her shoulders. Looks look Fahad mustafa didn't care too much for Mahira khan. Looks the the show was really promoting Naveen although she did a great job herself. From the cast it looks like Mahira was difficult to work with....probably too perky and annoying ....things that Khirad is not. I could sense some animosity from Fahad mustafa towards fawad. I think that the cast doesn't think Mahira deserves all the fame. But her pairing in the drama Humsafar was a hit. But it was stupid of her to say that her acting in NEEYAT was bhawkwas. Te part where she says i am stronger than Khirad was Way overkill!
Is it just be me or anyone else feel this way? I hated Mahira khan and atiqa Odho 's dressing. Loved the way Fawad khan and Naveen Waqar looked. Couldnt Mahira wear one of the gorgeous dresses that designers are trying to shove down her throat. She would have looked gorgeous. She looked like a bombshell dressed in tight jeans and the shirt but I wanted to see a Pakistani beauty. And right now the fashion is awesome in Pakistan and I'm sure she had no lacking of designerwear. She just seemed so fake and over.....
Don't get me wrong I think Mahira khan has natural beauty that appeals to both the east and west. She has potential if she tones it down a bit to taken seriously IMO.
I absolutely love Naveen Waqar but she is very tall and lanky.....I think she was perfect for the role of Sara but it will hard to find suitable roles for her due to her height IMO. She seems like she a professional and directors dream but it is hard to cast her ..... I think she would be faboulous host on a morning show.....i am sure the network executives picked up on this...

loved the interview, fahad mustafa did a good job despite being such a big star himself no show of ego. fawad started out kinda stiff but warmed up soon after, him and mahira have very good chemistry together, was good to see mahira being her natural self. atiqa and naveen were very stiff and reserved though, loved the bloopers! goes to show how hard it is to shoot such intense or romantic scenes but kudos to the director for putting it all together so beautifully! enjoyed seeing them all together!
it was hilarious when fawad gave away the story by talking about the scene where his daughter is in the hospital with 'cancer' hehehe poor thing, mahira's expression was priceless. also funny when he said he said he has read stuff online where ppl are arguing that its not ancient times where communication is impossible, its been argued here as well. good to see his point of view, apparently its not the lack of communication tools that stand in the way but the gigantic ego of guys at times like which stands in the way and blocks out all arguments, tools and efforts.

OH MY GOD Some of u are just soooooooo critical.I loved The show.Fahad as a host was awesome I didn't feel any animosity in fact he made fawad feel comfortable and he started coming out of his shell.Mahira was awesome and v real loved all her answers.Naveen was great too and so was Atiqa.I dont think Atiqa was reserved either she complemented all of them so well which seniors rarely do.

This is why I am not watching any shows with the cast, I don't want to ruin my image of the characters :D Once the drama is done, I will watch mahira and decide how annoying she is. cuz i have heard she's tooo loud and annoying : P

I didn't mean to sound critical and it was an awesome show. But since the Humsafar is so good it is hard to separate the characters from the actors. What I personally came away with is that Mahira and Khirad are very different. So that makes Mahiras
Acting all the more admirable. I taped and watched it again but I must say Mahira looked gorgeous. Wish she would worn pakistani clothes but she is not Khirad.......she is Mahira being Mahira. I also was able to see that Naveen is different from Sarah. As far as Asher and fawad...I think here is a lot of Fawad in the character of Ashet....just my 2 cents.....

Mahira's hubby is a very good friend of my bestie who lives in karachi and they all hang out a lot. What I've heard about Mahira is that she is incredibly sweet but is very shy and a little awkward in front of people and you can clearly see that in the interview. When put on the spot, she starts blushing and avoids looking in the camera directly, redirects attention towards others ( in the interview she keeps redirecting towards fawad) or just starts laughing. I am kinda like that too and would never in a million years go into show biz so i really admire her courage :) she's done a great job in humsafar and that is all that matters. she should probably avoid giving interviews so as to not come across as arrogant/silly etc

Lol, wow you guys are tough to please. Mahira has always been a bubbly-type character. When she was on AagTV she was the same, it's what makes her so appealing to people (to me, anyways). She's real and i enjoyed her hosting/acting skills. Great girl.
Fawad is just gorgeous and such a gentleman. Totally enjoy his presence on-screen and as a guest.
TwinkleStar, Naveen Waqar has an average height lol. Mahira is the tall lanky one. In the entire drama Naveen wears heels, whereas Mahira is wearing flats around everyone. Anyways, she used to be a VJ as well, on Aag. She's lost a lot of weight, and I think it plays against her. Her face looks too sharp, when she was VJ'ing she was heavier and looked a lot better, IMO. I like how she acted, but I feel like she doesn't have a wide range to act in. I have a feeling she'll be type-cast as the 'modern girl' in most dramas.
