re: -HUMSAFAR-
Being aware and actually visiting your family are two different things, bud. My friend’s uncle lives in Michigan (2 hrs drive from Illinois) and she’s met him a total of 3 times in her entire life, and she’s 23. =/ He is her father’s brother, and he’s a doctor. So, yes, it does happen in loads of families.
And you do realize she started her vendetta AFTER Baseerat threatened her with divorce. Of course she didn’t have respect for her husband after he says ‘eff you’ to her for his niece that he barely knew/cared about. That’s the point I’m trying to make - she was spurned…her actions were basically her reaction to her husband’s behavior with her. Spending your entire life catering to a man and then your child only to realize in the end that you have no say, is really well…sad. This defo happens in our society and women take it out on their DIL’s or SIL’s or whoever it may be. Again, I’m stating this for the millionth time.. it’s a drama. They exaggerate things to degree in order for it to appeal to audiences. However, there is a shred of truth in those exaggerations - ie) Fareeda feeling evil after he husband almost divorces her.
And i agree with what someone else said - educated women aren’t heartless and cold. Do learn the difference between reel and real life.
u don’t have to quote anything millionth time. everybody knows its a drama and everybody knows dramas r not real life. we r just talking abt fareeda that wat she did is not justified. educated women are or arn’t heartless is not the debate but in real life u still hear horrible things educated mils do n say. being educated is not a criteria of being a better person.
